Invisalign is a trusted orthodontic solution that provides individuals with an advanced and convenient solution to straighten teeth. The solution is effective, simple, and requires fewer dental visits making the process to your perfect smile much smoother.
Invisalign is a system custom-made for each individual. The system is a solution to misaligned teeth amongst other problems such as an overbite. Unlike braces that require metal frames and are noticeable, Invisalign is made out of clear, medical-grade polymer which is not easily detectable.
It is also removable which makes managing the treatment easier on patients. That is why it has slowly become one of the most popular solutions for patients to get a straighter smile.
The Invisalign solution starts with a digital scan of your mouth. The scan will allow our dentist to develop a digital smile in different stages to achieve the look you’re seeking, giving you a preview of what you’ll look like after their work is complete.
This enables our dentists to design aligners according to each phase of your smile from its current state to the desired smile, which is how customized aligners are made.
You will be notified when your first aligners are made, just a few days from your digital scan. From there onwards, you will need to visit every other week to pick up new aligners that are adjusted slightly each time to realign your teeth.
We understand that any type of treatment can be daunting for patients. That is why our dentists are available for any questions you may have throughout the treatment.
It all starts with a consultation with our dental team. We will evaluate the current state of your smile helps us map out the treatment. We walk through every step of this plan with you, presenting digital images that showcase your step-by-step transformation.
With your approval, our team will create your custom aligners. For the treatment to be effective, the aligners need to be worn for 21 to 22 hours a day. They should only be removed for eating, drinking, brushing, and flossing, which means you need to wear them to sleep also.
Every two weeks, new aligners will be provided by our dentists. Each new aligner is slightly different from the last, working gently to straighten your teeth. This process continues until the treatment completes. After this, retainers will be provided to ensure that your smile remains beautiful.
